My name is Carmen Romero and I am from Chile. Before arriving in China I lived, worked and raised a family in Houston, Texas. I have been teaching for 14 years with most of my experience in Math,  both primary and secondary grades, middle school Advanced Math and gifted and talented. I hold a degree in Computer Science, majoring in Management Information Systems and a degree in Education from the University of Houston. One of the reasons for coming to HWIS was to integrate international experience and the IB system into my professional career. My experience so far has been that the students here are inquiring and delightful to teach.
