My name is Monika and I am delighted to be a part of the C.A.I.S. community. This is my first time in China, but not my first time abroad. I have taught in Madrid (Spain), as well as in Riobamba (Ecuador)

I believe teaching is to be done with respect, compassion and interest in developing a student’s full potential. Each child is a unique individual that requires an environment in which they can grow intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. As a teacher, I want to create a safe environment that promotes respect for individual differences and ensures personal growth and success in each and every student. Ultimately I would like to teach students to become life-long learners as they grow to be contributing global citizens.
