I am proud to be in my thirty first year as a teacher. I was born in Louisville, Kentucky on Derby Day. I have been blessed to teach in many countries including Germany, Romania, India, and Kuwait, but I have to say my favorite country is China and I am very happy to be back in the "Middle Kingdom." I have worked as a guidance counselor, and I have taught English, science, and SEN at the middle school level and Theory of Knowledge (IB) at the secondary level. I enjoy sports, basketball, bicycling, and ice-skating. I also enjoy playing the piano and the baritone ukulele.
